Whiz bang engineering nets bucks - Shorewood native wins Alternate Power Initiative Race for the Future with 

pneumatic drill-powered roadster.

Shorewood center lands tenant - The Heartland Corporate Center, off the 55 frontage road and Seil Road, has a new tenant:  Jacobson Co. will be renting to a New Zealand-based dairy company called Fonterra.  23 new jobs expected.


Shorewood reviewing its sales tax referendum:  1% sales tax increase to purchase additional sanitary waste capacity from Joliet.


Miss and Junior Miss Shorewood Crossroads named during Shorewood Fest.
